Mission

The mission of Annunciation Catholic School is to provide a Christ-centered environment that nourishes our Catholic faith in God, strives for intellectual achievement, and provides a moral and social foundation based on the Gospels of Jesus Christ, The Good Shepherd.

Vision

Annunciation Catholic School will be a 21st Century Catholic School of Excellence with a strong focus on its Catholic identity, academic distinction, and social responsibility.

Beliefs

Annunciation Catholic School is founded upon the gospel message of Jesus Christ and the moral precepts of the Roman Catholic Church; therefore, all students are welcome and entitled to be treated with fraternal charity and mutual respect.

All teachers, support staff, and students are expected to understand and display intercultural sensitivity, recognizing the educational richness embedded in all cultural traditions, universality, and inclusiveness of the Catholic tradition.

The school acknowledges that parents are the primary educators of their children, and together with the pastor, principal, teachers, and members of the parish community share in the responsibility to provide a cooperative environment that facilitates the positive growth, both spiritually and academically, in each child’s course of human development.

The school recognizes the obligation to prepare each child to acquire a discerning moral conscience in an instantly gratifying society as well as prepare them to enter a work force that is increasingly technologically driven.

The school encourages innovation, collaboration, and communication to enhance the teaching and learning process through the implementation of research-based best practices.

Technology Mission Statement

At Annunciation Catholic School, we strive to prepare each student for success by teaching them 21st century skills through the use of current technology in the classroom. Each student has the opportunity to develop his or her potential through hands-on experience.

Students are expected to make good choices when accessing the Internet by centering on their Catholic formation, while in a safe digital environment that is protected by content filters. Students will learn how to use the appropriate tools available on the Internet to assist them in their learning, ethically and morally, keeping in mind their own privacy as well as the rights of others.
