Hurricane Irma Update 9-17-17

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for hanging in there and checking on us at Annunciation Catholic School. It was really nice to see so many people attend Mass even though we did not have power. Thank you, Fr Quilligan, for allowing us to worship outdoors and for giving us the opportunity to come together again. Our faith is strong!

The school will remain closed on Monday, September 18, 2017 due to the power outage. We plan to resume classes and all regular scheduled events on Tuesday. Please continue to check for email updates.

I appreciate your patience and understanding with this as we just wait our turn to get the power back on. Many of our school families are still without power, and please know that we are praying for you; and do not hesitate contact us if you need anything.

God Bless,

Mrs. Jennifer Nicholson, Principal

Annunciation School and Church *Irma* Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am happy to report that Annunciation Catholic School and Church has sustained no immediate damage due to Hurricane Irma. It is truly a blessing! I pray that [all of you are] safe and sound. I know that many families also evacuated and I hope that you are able to drive back safely when the time comes.

At this time, school will remain closed and we hope to resume classes on Monday, September 18, 2017.

Please note that at this time the campus does not have power. Father Quilligan and I will keep you posted to confirm our Monday re-opening. When power is restored we will need time to get our facilities ready.

Plan ahead for school lunches and be prepared to pack lunches and snacks. I am not sure when the cafeteria will be fully functional for lunch services.

Please contact me via email if you have any questions or concerns. If you are a family in need please let us know! We have a network of helpers that may be able to offer assistance.

Stay safe and God Bless,

Mrs. Jennifer Nicholson
