Congratulations to our 8th graders who received the Sacrament of Confirmationon April 7th. We thank Bishop Fernando Isern, Father Michael Quilligan, and Deacon Mitch Abdallah for a very beautiful celebration. Thank you to our Director of Religious Education, Mrs. Debbie Mendez, for preparing our school students for this important step in their faith journey. We also thank all of our other teachers and staff who contributed to the students’ spiritual development over the past many years! Thank you to Mr. Casinelli and our adult choir as well! May God continue to bless our students, and may they always remember their Confirmation in a very special way.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Father/Daughter Gala on April 8th sponsored by our Home & School Association. It was a very special evening for all our school dads and their daughters. The Parish Hall was transformed beautifully into “A Night in Paris” and all of the special touches were truly amazing! We especially thank Mrs. Vincent, who once again served as our chairperson, along with Mrs. Carvalho, Mrs. Crespo, Mrs. Saravia, and Mrs. Soto-Salazar, who all contributed and dedicated so much of their time and creative talent in helping to make this an unforgettable event…thank you so much! We look forward to continuing this wonderful tradition at Annunciation School.

Please remember that each family at Annunciation School is required to volunteer 20 service hours per school year. Please drop off your service hours card in the main school office prior no later than April 28th at 3:00 p.m. so that your hours may be credited towards the 2016-2017 school year. Thank you for your continued support!

As a reminder, we will be on Easter break beginning Holy Thursday, April 13-23! Classes will resume on Monday, April 24th. Happy Easter to all our families!
